Understanding how the pressure level affects efficiency of liquid piston gas compression is essential for a greater applicability technology in compressed air energy storage. To explore impacts, starting at three different initial levels (1, 2, 3 bar) with ratio 2 performed, and isothermal efficiencies are affected depending on pressures analyzed. Under experimental conditions, higher leads to lower efficiency.
